Meet the Team
Founder
Jo Price
My fitness journey began at the age of 16, after being told point blank by a recruiter for the Armed Forces that I was “Too fat to join”.
Fast forward 4 years and I’d completed 8 months of British Army Infantry training, in which I achieved the title of “Best at Physical Training”, as well as “Best Overall Recruit”.
I went on to serve a combined 12 years in the military, including serving in combat operations in Afghanistan in the summer of 2012.After leaving the Army during lockdown in 2021, decided to pack up my life (including my best friend Jack, my Labrador), and move to Brisbane Australia by enrolling in a 3 year full time Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) degree.
Soon, I will be embarking in a Master of Science by Research degree, at the Sunshine Coast University’s National PTSD Research Centre, working on a thesis aiming to improve the lives of combat veterans suffering with depression/CPTSD solely through nutritional interventions.
I am now settled in Buddina, on the Sunny Coast, living a life that took over 10 years of hard work to achieve.
Coaching isn’t just my job, or even my passion. It’s my life’s work, and I very much look forward to serving YOU on YOUR journey back to optimum health.
Yours,
Jo
Chief Menu Designer
Jack Price
Jack is our resident Labrador and Head of Menu Design. While he doesn’t contribute to calorie calculations or macro targets, he plays a vital role in quality control—particularly when meals involve meat, leftovers, or anything dropped on the floor.
Highly food-motivated and endlessly enthusiastic, Jack specialises in taste testing (unsolicited), morale boosting, and reminding us when it’s time for a break. His interests include long walks, short naps, and reviewing menus based solely on smell.
Jack brings joy, balance, and a strong bias toward protein to the team.
